Mishkal grants for Performing Arts aim to support creative projects inspired by Palestinian tangible and intangible cultural heritage, while promoting artistic expressions exploring cultural identity, resilience and hope, drawing inspiration from Palestine’s diverse stories and memories.
Mishkal project is funded by EU and implemented in partnership between British Council and Goethe Institut and in collaboration with EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) Cluster in Palestine.
The projects include theatre, music, storytelling, spoken words, dance and comedy, and are distributed across Palestine. The grantees include individual artists, collectives and independent cultural institutions.
