The British Council is exploring ideas around how to maximise the use of its East Jerusalem premises in in support of the needs of local artists, cultural organisations and arts audiences.

We believe there is an opportunity for this space to be used more effectively to support arts and cultural work and to engage audiences from different communities.

With the pandemic, many of the physical activities normally taking place in our premises have been put on hold or moved online. This offers an opportunity for rethinking the future use of our space and to explore new ideas and ways of working that maximise this valuable asset and work in collaboration with our local arts and cultural partners to enable more people to access and enjoy Palestinian and UK culture.
