In Birzeit’s Old Town, during the International Storytelling Festival, we shared an extraordinary evening with women artists and storytellers documenting daily life in Palestine, creating a living, collective memory. With storyteller and artistic director Fidaa Ataya, theatre artist Lekaa Sharaf, storyteller Basma Kamal, and storytelling researcher Hana Samen, we explored the inspiring role of Palestinian women in preserving collective memory, each sharing her unique perspective and voice.
